The mission of the counseling program of Alvin ISD is to enhance students’ social, emotional, academic, and career development. By serving all students K-12, the counseling program provides age-appropriate services, removes barriers, and provides support that allows students to follow their own path and discover new possibilities on the journey to graduation, college, and career.

I am Rhonda Wilson, your counselor for Nolan Ryan Junior High. This is my second year as a counselor. Prior to that, I spent 5 years as an Instructional Coach at Brothers Elementary and 10 years as a 5th grade teacher at Mary Marek Elementary. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Hello, Parents/Guardians! I am Ashlee Gulley, your child's Social Emotional Support Counselor. I am an experienced school counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor.
My Job as ESL counselor is to work with school faculty and district staff, students, parents and the community to implement a comprehensive social and emotional learning program. i will be housed at Shadow Creek High School. However, I will be serving Nolan Ryan JH, McNair JH, and Shadow Creek High School students, counseling them to develop.
