Dear Parents,
I would like to invite you to Rodeo Palms Jr. High's annual "Meet the Teacher" Night. This event will take place on Thursday, August 8th. We will start in the cafeteria for a quick Title 1 preview, followed by classroom visitations at 5:45 p.m.
All parents of sixth graders are invited to attend an informative meeting hosted by our Administrative team in the cafeteria. During the meeting, the admin team will address student expectations for the 2024-25 school year.
Sincerely,
Toriano Taylor, PhD.
Principal

As our families prepare for back to school, we wanted to give a quick reminder on Alvin ISD's Cell Policy.
The district permits students to possess personal cell phone for safety purposes.
Smart watches (including Fit Bits), earbuds (including Air Pods), headphones, mobile game consoles and all other electronic devices are not permitted.
Cell phones must be remain powered off and stored away during the instructional day, including during all testing, unless they are being used for approved instructional purposes.
Over the coming weeks, we'll spend some time focusing on why AISD finds it necessary to limit cell phone and smart device use during the school day.
Go to www.alvinisd.net/handbook to view the full Student Handbook.

Good Afternoon,
As we are eager to kick off the 20224-2025 Football season, we have a few items to ensure we are ready. Our pad pick-up date will be August 6th from 5 pm-7 pm. This will be the ONLY time to get pads before school starts. If you cannot make it, please don’t worry. We will issue pads the 1st week of school. Please be advised that student-athletes must have their physicals uploaded and approved in Rankone before they can receive their equipment. Also, please do not buy your own helmet. Pads must be issued by the school district.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!
Thank you,
Mike Vasquez
