My name is Jamie Baldwin, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Rodeo Palms Junior High.  My mission is to empower the students and staff of Rodeo Palms and support their educational growth.

​I was born and raised in Friendswood, Texas, a suburban city between Pearland and Alvin.  After graduating from Friendswood High School, I attended Texas Lutheran University and earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Mathematics Education.  I also received my Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University in 2014.  I began my teaching career in 2009 at Manvel High School as a math teacher, where I served in a variety of leadership roles, including cheer coach, department chair, and instructional coach.  My career in administration began in Willis ISD in 2017, where I served at Brabham Middle school as an assistant principal.  I returned to Alvin ISD in 2018 to serve as an assistant principal at Manvel High School.  I also served as an assistant principal at Fairview Junior High and the Associate Principal at Alvin High School.  

My 14 years in education have not only been rewarding but have allowed me to grow into the servant leader that I am today.  I am excited to start my 2nd year as the campus principal and welcome students, staff, parents, and community members in August.  We will be relentless in our mission to empower each student to become a lover of learning, a seeker of knowledge, and a responsible and engaged citizen in a global community.
