A huge thank you to School Board Trustee Brian Roberson for taking the time to visit our campus today! 🍎 Our Pre-K and Kindergarten students were so excited to have a special guest join them for lunch. It’s not every day our youngest learners get to chat with a community leader, and they truly loved sharing their stories (and some of their lunches!) with him. This morning, Mrs. Sullivan hosted the library ambassadors to a celebratory donut breakfast before school to thank them for a great fall semester. 4th- and 5th-grade students apply to become library ambassadors in August and serve one day a week in the library from 7:30 - 7:50 throughout the school year. Ambassadors learn how to check books in and out to students who visit the library before school, as well as help with various library tasks that Mrs. Sullivan needs assistance with. This morning, we hosted round 3 of the Wilder Spelling Bee, and we're pleased to announce that 4th-grader Caleb Joseph won 1st place, 2nd place went to Joshua Varghese, and Elaina Trueman won 3rd place. Congratulations to all our students who competed in the various rounds of the spelling bee. Everyone did a phenomenal job, and we're so very proud of each of you. Caleb will compete at the district spelling bee on February 5th. 🚨 Gingerbread Alert! Our Man is on the Run! 🚨Our kindergarten class had a "crumby" start to the day yesterday! Our freshly baked gingerbread man decided to take a holiday and started elf-ing" our halls! 🤣They launched a full-scale search and rescue mission. Our little detectives were on the case, following a trail of clues and ginger-scented mischief. They were determined to catch him!🥳 P.S. The Texas Wildlife Association recently visited Ms. Abraham's 4th-grade science classes, where they explored soil's different properties and learned about the connection between stewardship and soil. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Congratulations to our November iReady incentive recipients. These students completed at least 270 minutes, with an 80% pass rate across all lessons.
