This morning, Ms. Walker had Tyler from Mrs. Paolini's 2nd-grade class speak with her 1st-grade class about what 2nd grade is like. Students could ask Tyler questions about what kind of rules they have in 2nd grade, how much homework they have every night, and how long recess is. Tyler did a phenomenal job of helping these almost 2nd graders feel calm, comfortable, and confident in their next step of schooling at Wilder Elementary. #WilderWolves #GLOW #AllinAlvinISD

This morning was our last first Friday Breakfast from our incredible PTO ladies. These ladies constantly do things behind the scenes to help our Wilder community, and often, it goes unnoticed. Today, we want to say thank you for all the countless kind things our @WilderPTO has done this year. Without their help, so many 'extra' things never could have happened. Thank you, ladies, for another extraordinary year. You're all fantastic, and we're so lucky to have each of you. #WIlderWolves #GLOW #AllinAlvinISD

Today, we celebrate the incredible leaders who guide our schools with dedication, compassion, and vision. Thank you to our principal, Mrs. Marz, who works tirelessly to create a safe and inspiring environment where students and teachers thrive. #WilderWolves #GLOW #AllinAlvinISD

To welcome everyone back and remove barriers to library access, the Brazoria County Library System is launching an Overdue Fine Amnesty from May 1 to May 31, 2025.
During this period, all overdue fines will be waived - no questions asked. Patrons can return late items and have their accounts cleared without penalty, even if the items are months (or years) overdue. This amnesty ONLY applies to late fines.
Patrons will still be responsible for charges related to damage to items, replacement costs for lost items, cleaning or processing fees, and collection agency charges. The library hopes this initiative will encourage former users to reconnect, explore new services, and rediscover the welcoming space the library provides.

This morning, our 5th graders are meeting with junior high teachers to discuss summer reading course requirements for next year's classes. Junior high can be a challenging transition from elementary school, but when you're informed and prepared, you'll be well-equipped for anything. #WilderWolves #GLOW #AllinAlvinISD
