Congratulations to 2nd grader, Layla Guerrero, for winning the prestigious honor of having her artwork be included in next year's rodeo flyer. Way to go Layla, we're all so proud of you! #WIlderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Shout out to Pre-K student Kensi for representing our Wilder Wolves this morning in the AISD Education Foundation Turtle 🐢 Race Fun Run🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ in Iowa Colony. Great job Kensi, we're so proud of you. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

As the crescent moon marks the beginning of Ramadan, we send our warmest wishes to all our students and families observing this holy month. 🌙 We hope this is a time of peace and joyful gatherings with your loved ones. Wishing you all a month filled with blessings, kindness, and community. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

2nd graders in Mrs. Owen's class are learning a lot about science this year. A few weeks ago, they were learning about habitats; now they're on to food chains. Great job on your slide presentations, 2nd graders. You did a phenomenal job. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Happy Lunar New Year! 🧧✨ Our halls are glowing with red and gold as we celebrate the Year of the Horse! This week, our 3rd- and 4th-grade students are exploring the rich traditions of the Lunar New Year in the library. We wish all our families a year filled with prosperity, good health, and immense joy! #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Congratulations to this week's Wolf of the Week, Ms. Price, our incredible counselor. Ms. Price is a constant source of support and inspiration for students and teachers. She does so much for our campus, and we can't imagine Wilder without her. Thank you, Ms. Price, for all you do! #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Don't forget that it's a 4 day weekend for our Wilder Wolves. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures

Today is our first day of interim testing, and in an effort to make it as close to a "real" STAAR testing day as possible, we are a closed campus today. That means no classroom deliveries or lunch visitors. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Congratulations to our 3rd grade teacher, Mrs Chen. We love and appreciate you Mrs Chen and are appreciative of all you do to ensure your student's past & present are successful. Your dedication to our UIL Number Sense kiddos is impressive. And your passion for multicultural month is wonderful to see in action. We love you Mrs. Chen! #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Today we celebrated our amazing crossing guards. Mr Mike, Mr Reggie, Ms Lisa & our newest team member, Mr Tim (he joined us this week). We are so thankful for each of you, together you each help ensure that our Wilder Wolves get to school safely every day. Thank you! We also want to wish Ms Lisa a very Happy Birthday. 😊 #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

This afternoon, Mrs. Sullivan got to do some prize patrolling in various classrooms throughout the building. Each month, students who read at least 300 minutes in Beanstack receive a certificate and a trinket. Mrs. Sullivan ordered Benny the Beanstack plushies for students who completed the January "Read with Benny" challenge and got to deliver those to students today. We are so proud of our little Wolves who are finally starting to log their minutes like the big Wolves do, and she wanted to share just a few pictures of their smiling faces. Remember, Beanstack is accessible to all Wilder students via Clever. There is always a monthly reading challenge, but there are sometimes other great freebie opportunities too; check it out today! #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Yesterday, 4th grader Caleb Joseph represented Wilder at the district spelling bee at Freedom Field, and we are so proud of his efforts. There were 7 rounds, and Caleb reached round 6 before being eliminated. Way to go, Caleb! If you see him in the hallways, please give him a high-five or a friendly congratulations. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Congratulations to our wonderful January Wolf of the Month recipients. These students exemplify what it means to be a Wilder Wolf. Every day, they are: independent learners, dedicated, enthusiastic, and respectful. Thank you for setting an example for others and being a leader on campus. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Once again our incredible PTO provided a wonderful 1st Friday breakfast. Thank you ladies for taking such great care of all of us. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

This past weekend, two of our Wilder Wolves competed in the Battle of the Bayou in Hitchcock, representing the SCHS FFA and taking top prize. Rosie, a 3rd grader and her Polish Buck rabbit, Pandy, placed 1st and took best of breed, and 4th grade sister Madilyn took 2nd place with her Netherland Dwarf Buck. Congrats, girls, and thanks for representing not only Wilder Elementary but also our SCHS FFA program. #WIlderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

When we think about school, we often think of teachers and students, but there’s a quiet force in the building making sure students are actually okay enough to learn: The School Counselor. School counselors are the ultimate multitaskers. On any given day, they are:
The Emotional Anchor: Helping a student navigate a tough morning or a mental health crisis.
The Path-Finder: Guiding seniors through the maze of college apps and career dreams.
The Bridge Builders: Connecting parents, teachers, and students to make sure nobody falls through the cracks.
The Conflict Resolvers: Teaching the life skills that aren't found in a math 101 syllabus.
Education isn’t just about grades; it’s about growing into a whole person. Counselors provide the safety net that allows students to take risks, fail, and get back up again. Ms Price, we see you, we appreciate you. Thank you for being the heart of our school. ❤️ #WIlderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

This week is Counselor Appreciation Week, and at Wilder, we have one of the best: Ms. LaNetta Price. Ms. Price is our incredible school counselor, supporting our students with compassion, patience, and an open heart every single day. From big feelings to big decisions, Ms. Price is always there to listen, encourage, and help our students shine. Thank you, Ms. Price, for being a safe space, a steady guide, and such an important part of our school family. We are so grateful for all you do! #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Today was the 100th day of school for our Pre-K and Kinder friends. They are 100 days smarter thanks to their hard work and their teachers' dedication. Keep working hard, little Wolves, we're so proud of you. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Ladies & Gentlemen, start your collecting! Call your grandparents, talk to your neighbors, ask your friends at work to save all their plastic grocery bags. We don't care if they have holes or tears; it doesn't matter. Just save them! Every bag is worth its weight in gold (and it helps save the Earth). Don't start sending them to school until March, but don't wait to start collecting. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Our 5th graders are working hard this morning, taking their Jr. High Math MAP test in the cafeteria. Our 5th-grade math teachers have worked hard this year to prepare our students, and I know that Mrs. Melton and Mrs. Herrera are proud of all they've achieved thus far. Good luck, 5th graders! #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD
