It's time for another Throwback Thursday in honor of our 100th anniversary of Alvin ISD. Can you guess who this beloved staff member is? Put your guesses in the comments below. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Don't forget to stop by Jeremiah's Italian Ice today after school and grab a cool, sweet treat to help beat this hot Texas heat. #WIlderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Our resilience shines brightest when we come together. It doesn't matter if we're facing a storm or celebrating a victory; we show up for our neighbors. That's the Texas way—supporting one another through thick and thin. We're hoping all our Hill Country friends have a great start to the 2025-2026 school year. @HuntISD #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Get ready, Wilder Wolves! It's time for Alvin ISD Night at the Houston Astros! Join us on Tuesday, September 16th, as the Astros take on the Rangers at Daiken Park. Wear your school colors and come out to cheer on the home team. See you there! #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD #GoAstros #HoustonAstros

On Wednesday, August 20th, let's show our support for our Hill Country friends by wearing green. As we all know, the Hill Country suffered significant losses on July 4th, and Hunt ISD was one of the areas hardest hit. So much so, they had to postpone starting school until the 20th of this week. In honor of their strength and struggles over the last month and a half, let's all wear green and show our support for our fellow Texans from afar. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD @HuntISD

This week, Ms. Price, our incredible counselor, is making her rounds to introduce herself to all of our students and do a short mini-lesson as well. We are so lucky to have Ms. Price at Wilder. Her kindness, compassion, and dedication are unsurpassed. We love you Ms. Price. #WilderWolves #BuidlingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Wilder is excited to announce our TEA rating. We never believe that test scores define who we are, but it does show our growth from one year to the next. We went from a B-rated campus to an A and that's all because of the hard work of our students, teachers, and staff. This shows that hard work, dedication, and diligence pay off. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Throughout the last week Mrs. Sullivan met with students and explained how we've "upped" our Wilder Bucks game this year, and Friday Mr. Riley shared with our 5th graders as well. Now Wilder Bucks will be saved & each is worth a certain number of points. Points are then be used to "purchase" super cool items from the school store. Students earn Wilder Bucks by being independent learners who are dedicated, enthusiastic & respectful. Encourage your Wilder Wolves to work hard earning Wilder Bucks so they can "purchase" awesome rewards from the school store. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Wilder families, please don't forget about these important changes, which begin Monday morning. #WIlderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Mrs. Roberts 4th graders completed a team building challenge called "Save Fred".This is a cooperative activity that has students work in groups to save a helpless gummy worm named Fred who has managed to capsize his boat and lose his life preserver. Working together, students must rescue Fred, turn his boat right side up, and put on his life preserver – all without hurting Fred or dropping him into the “lake.” Great job 4th graders and awesome planning Mrs. Roberts. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

What an awesome summer of reading our Wilder Wolves had. Our students read a total of 30,815 minutes throughout the summer, and almost 50 students have completed the summer reading challenge, which ends tonight at midnight. Remember, monthly reading challenges are all tracked within Beanstack, which is accessible via Clever once again. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD @Zoobean

This year, @AlvinISD is celebrating our 100th anniversary as a school district. In honor of this momentous occasion, we'll be posting various historical "flashbacks" throughout the year. Sometimes, our posts will be about years gone by at Wilder or our school's namesake. We hope you enjoy this special edition on our social media feed this year. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

We got a few more Wilder Wolves to complete their summer reading challenge. Way to go, friends. Don't forget Friday is the deadline to earn your "sweet treat" for completing the challenge. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Happy Left-Handers Day! August 13th is a chance to tell your family and friends how proud you are of being left-handed, and also raise awareness of the everyday issues that lefties face as we live in a world designed for right-handers. Let's hear it for our lefties!!! #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

4th & 5th graders, if you're interested in applying to be a Library Ambassador this school year, applications are now open. Don't miss the August 22nd deadline: https://forms.gle/arJVh9C7niHRB2dp9 #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures

Here's to a fresh start, new goals, and a school year filled with growth, laughter, and learning. Welcome back, Wolves - it's going to be a great year. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

The City of Pearland has recently installed "No Parking, Stopping, Standing Any Time" signs along Kingsley and around our campus as a safety measure for our students and community. Police will be writing tickets. In addition, here are a few other reminders. If your child is a true car rider, please have them go home through our car rider line. Parents are not allowed to park in our parking lots and pick up their child(ren) as a walker. No Cell Phone Use in School Zones. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD @Pearland.PD

As we look ahead to a successful 2025-26 school year, we would like to inform you about a new state law, House Bill 1481, which the Texas Legislature recently passed. House Bill 1481 prohibits students from using personal communication devices during the school day. This law applies to cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, headphones, and tablets, as well as any device that can text, call, record, or access the internet.
In Alvin ISD, the expectation is simple: Not Seen. Not Heard. Not Taken.
Students are permitted to bring phones and personal electronic devices to school.
However, from the moment students enter the building in the morning until the final dismissal bell, cell phones must be powered off or silenced, stored in a backpack or locker, and not used during class, passing periods, lunch, or restroom breaks.
