Good afternoon! We are ready to welcome everyone for Meet the Teacher tonight. While all schedules have not been uploaded in Skyward, please be assured that we have class assignments for all kids that have enrolled. There will be staff stationed in the front and at all hallways with a list to help guide you. Thanks!

As our families prepare for back to school, we wanted to give a quick reminder on Alvin ISD's Cell Policy. The district permits students to possess personal cell phone for safety purposes. Smart watches (including Fit Bits), earbuds (including Air Pods), headphones, mobile game consoles and all other electronic devices are not permitted. Cell phones must be remain powered off and stored away during the instructional day, including during all testing, unless they are being used for approved instructional purposes. Over the coming weeks, we'll spend some time focusing on why AISD finds it necessary to limit cell phone and smart device use during the school day. Attention 5th Grade Parents: The 5th Grade Clap Out will be Friday, May 24th at 11:30am. If you are able to participate, you must either walk up to campus or park in a parking space. Parents will line the sidewalk from the front to the cafeteria. See flyer for more info!

Mrs. Owen arranged for second grade to have a special visitor today to help them learn about animal coverings and characteristics. French Toast is a banana pastel ball python and a great teacher!

It's the last week for the Alvin Book Bus Book Drive! Drop off your new or gently used books in the front foyer!

Congratulations to Mrs. Godfrey for being named our Wolf of the Week! Mrs. Godfrey is very sweet, patient, and so compassionate. Her passion for kids is unmatched!

Our first graders had a blast on their field trip to the Houston Downtown Aquarium today !

We are super excited about Shark Day this afternoon! Come join the fun!

Congratulations to Mrs. Tran and Mrs. Dickerson's class for winning the Imagine Math traveling trophy for February 2024! Continue to encourage your students to complete Imagine Math and Imagine Learning lessons at home.

Next week is Spring Break! No school for staff or students.
