Jr. High Cheer Camp 2024 Recap 🏆🎀📣
We earned a trophy for Top Team Band Chant out of 9 total junior highs and the spirit stick both days. This team has so much potential for success and we all are ready for the 2024-2025 cheer season! 💙🤍
As our families prepare for back to school, we wanted to give a quick reminder on Alvin ISD's Cell Policy.
The district permits students to possess personal cell phone for safety purposes.
Smart watches (including Fit Bits), earbuds (including Air Pods), headphones, mobile game consoles and all other electronic devices are not permitted.
Cell phones must be remain powered off and stored away during the instructional day, including during all testing, unless they are being used for approved instructional purposes.
Over the coming weeks, we'll spend some time focusing on why AISD finds it necessary to limit cell phone and smart device use during the school day.

$20 cash only. If students have not had a physical at the start of school they will be dropped from Athletics. See FJH Athletic site and hover over sports then news to find the 2024-25 Physical forms.

We have Preview Days this Thursday and Friday. Their Reading teacher will bring them at a certain time on their day. Set up your child's eWallet now.
Students can shop Monday, May 6th starting at 8 am. We will close on Friday May 10th.

During lunch today, students who sold 8 or more boxes of chocolates during our school fundraiser, got to celebrate with a pizza & sundae party while chilling with a friend & games!
8th Grade Formal will be held Friday, May 17th 6:30-8:30 PM at FJH.
Your Library and Chocolate Sales Accounts must be CLEARED to be allowed to buy tickets.

During Texas Library Association Conference, I was surprised with a lunch with Alan Gratz, an amazing author our Falcons love. We can't keep his books on shelves because they are always checked out!
