In celebration of the Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we are hosting an art contest. Submit an Asian-inspired artwork or art piece to get a chance to win a prize. All submissions go to Ms. Murphy or Mr. Emerson. All entries are due on May 13th. Winners will be announced on May 14th at the AAPI assembly.
We will also have a movie showing of the top 3 voted Asian movies on our campus. If you would like your vote to count and watch your favorite movie, join our Google Classroom and vote. Our movie showing will be on May 8th from 4:15 - 5:30 pm in the classrooms of Ms. Pamintuan, Mrs. Punwasi, and Mrs. Bell.
Lastly, if you love languages or want to try something new, join us in our Multilingual Mingle on May 16th. Learn Urdu, Mandarin, Nepali, Malayalam, and Tagalog. These language lessons will take place in rooms A117, A118, A119, B105, and B126.
For questions regarding AAPI, see Mrs. Bell or Ms. Pamintuan.
