Welcome Eagles

The McNair Junior High Dance courses are designed to provide students with the fundamentals of dance and allow for the growth of each dancer through the development of movement. This is achieved through the study of different styles of dance, terminology, history, choreography, and performance through written and physical participation. Students may receive Fine Arts, PE and/or elective credit.

The goal is that each student will appreciate the art of dance and explore all of its qualities. This will be accomplished through effort and class participation, where students will learn, observe, create, perform and gain self confidence.

"Whether or not you reach your goals in life depends entirely on how well you prepare for them and how badly you want them. You're eagles. Stretch your wings and fly to the sky." -Dr. Ronald E. McNair

Hello McNair Families!

I am so excited to share my passion for dance with the RMJH Dance program!

I am from Beaumont Texas where I began dancing at the age of three. I have trained as a Competitive and Drill Team dancer. I graduated from Lamar University with a BA in Dance and Theater. I was also a member of the Lamar University Dance Team. After graduating college I jumped right into education as a high school Dance Director for 6 years, in addition I teach studio dance for ages 2-adults. When I am not wearing my teacher hat  you will always find me with my beautiful and amazing daughter Grayson.

I am looking forward to working with your students and having a school year full of fun and growth.
