Mrs. Roberts 4th graders completed a team building challenge called "Save Fred".This is a cooperative activity that has students work in groups to save a helpless gummy worm named Fred who has managed to capsize his boat and lose his life preserver. Working together, students must rescue Fred, turn his boat right side up, and put on his life preserver – all without hurting Fred or dropping him into the “lake.” Great job 4th graders and awesome planning Mrs. Roberts. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

What an awesome summer of reading our Wilder Wolves had. Our students read a total of 30,815 minutes throughout the summer, and almost 50 students have completed the summer reading challenge, which ends tonight at midnight. Remember, monthly reading challenges are all tracked within Beanstack, which is accessible via Clever once again. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD @Zoobean

This year, @AlvinISD is celebrating our 100th anniversary as a school district. In honor of this momentous occasion, we'll be posting various historical "flashbacks" throughout the year. Sometimes, our posts will be about years gone by at Wilder or our school's namesake. We hope you enjoy this special edition on our social media feed this year. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Happy Left-Handers Day! August 13th is a chance to tell your family and friends how proud you are of being left-handed, and also raise awareness of the everyday issues that lefties face as we live in a world designed for right-handers. Let's hear it for our lefties!!! #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

The City of Pearland has recently installed "No Parking, Stopping, Standing Any Time" signs along Kingsley and around our campus as a safety measure for our students and community. Police will be writing tickets. In addition, here are a few other reminders. If your child is a true car rider, please have them go home through our car rider line. Parents are not allowed to park in our parking lots and pick up their child(ren) as a walker. No Cell Phone Use in School Zones. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD @Pearland.PD

As we look ahead to a successful 2025-26 school year, we would like to inform you about a new state law, House Bill 1481, which the Texas Legislature recently passed. House Bill 1481 prohibits students from using personal communication devices during the school day. This law applies to cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, headphones, and tablets, as well as any device that can text, call, record, or access the internet.
In Alvin ISD, the expectation is simple: Not Seen. Not Heard. Not Taken.
Students are permitted to bring phones and personal electronic devices to school.
However, from the moment students enter the building in the morning until the final dismissal bell, cell phones must be powered off or silenced, stored in a backpack or locker, and not used during class, passing periods, lunch, or restroom breaks.

Our AMAZING Wilder PTO is hosting a Boo Hoo Breakfast across from the office on 8/11/25 from 7:30 - 8:30. Please stop by and grab a bite, maybe meet some new friends, and see that you're not alone. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD
