Today, Ms. Abraham and Ms. Irby's 4th-grade students worked together and played tic-tac-tally as they practiced and reviewed for their upcoming Math STAAR exam. Students were pushed to think deeply, talk to their peers, and make connections between words, visuals, and assessment items. Wilder community, please remember that April is filled with important STAAR testing dates for our 3rd, 4th & 5th grade students. On testing days, the campus is closed to all visitors. Yesterday, Ms. Deana Fuchs from Farm Bureau came to talk to first grade about the life cycle of a chicken in honor of their life cycles unit in science. Students will also follow the development of chicks as they grow inside the egg and eventually hatch inside their classrooms!
