This past Saturday, October 7th, 35 of our Fairview JH Choir students competed in the All-Region Choir Auditions. They competed against 600+ students from Alvin ISD, Clear Creek, Santa Fe, Angleton, Dickinson, and other surrounding school districts.
FJH ranked second in having the most students qualify for the Region Choir out of the entire contest and we were ranked #1 out of all of the Alvin ISD junior high campuses with the most students making the Region Choir.
18 of our singers earned a spot in the Region Mixed or Treble Choirs and 5 of our students earned a TOP 5 chair in the contest! Here is a list of all of our students who made Region choir:
