Mark Twain Elementary

Mark Twain Tigers had an astronomical time viewing the solar eclipse. Thank you to Alvin ISD for providing safety glasses for every student in the district. Even with the overcast day our students had a great opportunity to view the eclipse. #AlvinISD #MTEroars

Our students have had the opportunity to read Texas 2x2's, Trailblazers and Texas Bluebonnets for our Reading Challenge 23-24 school year. Students that read all the books in their category and turn in their completed reading log packet by April 26th will be invited to an Ice Cream Social in May.

Alvin ISD is excited for our students and staff members to witness the total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8th. Precautions are being taken and glasses are being provided for every student and staff member. Campuses are prepared to allow students to safely observe the event during the school day. The safety of our students is always our top priority. If you do not wish to have your child participate, please contact your child's campus."
