Mark Twain is using Beanstack as an engaging way to promote literacy this year. Students log in using their Clever account and record their reading. This can be done at home as well. They time themselves as they read and are able to earn digital badges and other prizes. The top 5 Beanstack minutes were awarded for October to the following; Abby A., Kassie G., Marcos L., Jeshua F. & Gracie B. Between the five of them they read almost 4,000 minutes combined. One of our Mark Twain clubs are Makerspace Mondays. Third through Fifth graders come to the library and work at various stations. Last week students used Bee Bots and obstacle course materials. They created paths for the bee bots to travel through their obstacle courses. #AlvinISD #AllInAlvin #MTETigers
