Mrs. Padron

Counselor Alpha L-Z

Welcome back Warriors! My name is Claudia Padron and I am excited to be your school counselor this school year. I graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Bilingual Education from the University of Texas in Brownville and with a Master Degree in School Counseling from Lamar University.

I enjoy many things, but my absolute favorite is making memories with my family. Whether it's sharing a quiet moment over a hot cup of coffee, going on a peaceful nature walk, or hitting the road for a new adventure, those moments are what mean the most to me. Life's adventures are always better when shared with the people you love the most!

As a School Counselor, it is my goal to cultivate a positive, respectful, and trusting environment that invites and provides students with the opportunity to express their feelings and develop skills to reach their goals to be the best version of themselves.

Angela Wright

Angela Wright

Social Emotional Counselor

As a Social-Emotional Learning Counselor, my primary role is to support students in developing the skills necessary for emotional intelligence, resilience, and healthy relationships. I work with individuals and groups to foster self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and effective communication. Through a variety of activities, such as mindfulness practices, role-playing, and collaborative problem-solving, I help students identify their emotions and learn to navigate social dynamics. I also provide a safe space for them to express their feelings and experiences, promoting a culture of openness and understanding. In collaboration with teachers and parents, I strive to create an inclusive environment that prioritizes mental well-being. By integrating SEL into the school curriculum, I aim to empower students to manage stress, build positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. Ultimately, my goal is to equip students with the tools they need to thrive both academically and personally, fostering a supportive community where everyone can succeed.
