Congratulations to Boys & Girls Varsity Track on earning 3rd place at the District Track Meet on Wednesday, April 2nd.

The MHS production of The Little Mermaid has earned three Tommy Tune Award nominations, recognizing the hard work and talent of our students both onstage and behind the scenes. Our students will perform at the Tommy Tune Awards on June 6 at the Hobby Center.

MHS Student Council applied for a partnership last school year with HEB Tree for Texans and they along with NHS planted 31 trees on Friday, March 14th. H-E-B Trees for Texans enriches the places we proudly call home by planting trees that contribute to healthier environments.

On Monday, March 3rd, Mayor Dan issued a Proclamation for Theater in Our Schools Month. March is Theatre in Our Schools Month, and we were proud to recognize some of our talented theatre students and their dedicated teacher at our recent City Council meeting!





Lydia Kennard served as Co-Mayor on March 3rd. Lydia got a glimpse of her future as she served as Co-Mayor! With big dreams of becoming Mayor one day, Lydia stepped into the role and served the people of Manvel during a Council meeting.




Congratulations to the members of Mav Guard! On March 1st they came in 3rd place at the TCGC Winter Guard Contest at Clear Creek HS. Their score improved over 12 points from their previous contest. Way to go, Mav Guard!





Congratulations to this year's Campus Teachers of the Year!
Each campus selected their own Teacher of the Year and those winners are now in the running to become either the Secondary or Elementary Teacher of the Year for the district! The district winners will be announced at the Employee Recognition ceremony in May.
