Alvin High School History

Alvin High School was founded in 1894 and the first students graduated in 1897. The first graduating class had just 5 students. After the storm of 1900, donations helped with repairs and renovations of AHS, later leading to the first 4-year class graduation in 1906. With new schools being built, the Alvin Independent School District was founded in 1925.
