AHS Band playing on the football field

Since its establishment in 1894, Alvin High School has had a phenomenal history of academic success and a unique, but diverse student population. The Alvin High School Yellow Jacket Marching Band has been one of the biggest supporters of Alvin High School Athletics and continues to do so by going to a variety of events.

Our Goals and Objectives

The Alvin High School Yellow Jacket Band has many goals and objectives: having mental and physical discipline, citizenship through group endeavors, physical conditioning, cultural growth, valuing judgement, knowledge of music theory, being consistent in instrument technique and care, and allowing creative self-expression. Achieving these goals and objectives requires countless hours of hard work and dedication.

The website is here to serve the past, present and future of the Alvin High School Band Program.
