The committee's role is to evaluate potential needs and to bring a recommendation to the Board on how to address facility needs and challenges associated with rapid student enrollment growth. Education Week recognized Ana Pasarella, Alvin ISD’s Director of Family and Community Engagement, as one of its "2024 Leaders to Learn From" honorees this month!
Pasarella and her department are the force behind programs such as the Book Bus, STEM Bus, READy Program, and YET Program.
Since 1981, Education Week has been America's most trusted resource for K-12 education news and information. The Leaders to Learn From program recognizes school district leaders who have shown persistence and creativity as they navigate the challenges facing schools in an increasingly diverse, rapidly changing world.
