Preparing for a musical isn't just running lines and practicing choreography - it's also hard work hanging lights, building sets and transforming the stage to transport the audience to a new place! Shadow Creek's fine arts students are putting the finishing touches on a deserted island this week ahead of their show's opening night on Friday. SCHS will premiere "Once on this Island" this weekend, while Iowa Colony HS will perform "You and Me and Everyone We Know" and Alvin HS will feature the classic musical, "Into the Woods." What can you buy with 50 Eagle bucks at Alvin Elementary? The chance to do the principal’s hair! First grader, Keegan, worked hard and saved her Eagle bucks. Eagle bucks are given to students making great choices. She cashed in and got to do Mrs. Gonzalez’s hair! Great job Keegan!
