PSAT
The PSAT is a practice test for the SAT. It is given in October to all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students in Alvin ISD. The PSAT is provided free of charge. Students are automatically registered and will take the test on the following dates:
PSAT 8/9 for 9th grade: October 8, 2024
PSAT/NMSQT for 10th grade: October 9, 2024
PSAT/NMSQT for 11th grade: October 10, 2024
This also allows students to register for the Student Search Service, making it easy for colleges and scholarship programs to find them. The PSAT also automatically screens 11th grade students for the National Merit Scholarship Program, as well as provide feedback on which AP courses a student has the potential to be successful in. You will need a College Board account to access your scores. Make sure that if you already have a College Board account that you use that same email address on your answer document so that you will be able to access your scores. You will continuously use this same College Board login for SAT, PSAT, and AP exams and will help to ensure you have access to all of your scores.
