Monique Jordan is a San Antonio native who is a graduate of James Madison High School. She holds a B.A. in Dance from Sam Houston State University and an M.Ed in Digital Learning and Leading as well as a Principal Certificate from Lamar University. In her career as a dance educator, she has held positions as an elementary dance teacher and high school drill team director in both the Houston and Dallas areas. She is a lead camp instructor and judge for MA Dance.

Monique currently serves as the 1st Vice President of the Texas Dance Educators' Association and is a passionate advocate for the expansion of dance programs in schools throughout the state.

Anna-Maria Gutierrez grew up in Alvin ISD, graduating from Manvel High School. She earned her Associates in Arts focused in Dance at San Jacinto College and has more recently obtained her Bachelor's of Arts in Dance Education 6-12 at Texas Woman’s University. While enrolled, she involved herself in multiple organizations, such as the National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA), as well as the Korean Dance Association (KDA), where she held the secretary officer position for both. While working towards her B.A., she spent her time getting involved in the dance community. Part of this time was spent in Transcend Motion, a contemporary hip hop movement company based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area (2021-2023). She also performed on various stages while working towards her teaching certification.

Her ultimate motivation in being a mover and educator is to express topics through dance that she may struggle to communicate in other forms. Dance is considered to be a safe haven in her eyes, and she feels the need to share that with others. This is why she is so excited to join the Shadow Creek team! She has so many roots in the Pearland area, and feels connected to those who grew up in her hometown. She is excited to learn from her students while teaching them new / foreign concepts.
