I have long possessed the desire to be the best I can be and try to instill this growth mindset in the children and students within my sphere of influence. In Oklahoma, I served as a foster parent for 9 years and taught middle school for 8 years. During this time I earned a Master’s degree in Education. After moving to Texas, I found my dream job with Options. In this amazing program I am daily interacting with and helping students who have, for many different reasons, not been successful in a traditional high school setting. Seeing students reclaim their future by receiving their diplomas and continuing on to be successful adults is my passion!
