Mark Twain is excited to welcome our newest Bilingual Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Acevedo! She is doing wonderful things with her students. Today students made connections and shared their ideas during their ELD, English Language Development block. Students shared together through a turn & talk strategy, and made connections with Spanish texts and translated into English texts.

Mark Twain is excited to announce our Alvin ISD Education Turtles are coming! Let's support the Education Foundation by purchasing a turtle/turtles.
Band instrument try-outs for all students attending Alvin JH, Fairview JH, and Harby JH will be at Harby Junior High Friday February 2nd- 5:30-8:30 pm, and Saturday February 3rd 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. This is an opportunity for all students to come and try out the different band instruments. You do not need to be signed up for band as an elective to attend.
