Save the Date!

Dance Dimension is the annual dance class showcase and will serve as TWO major test grades. Every dance class student in the state of Texas is required one performance per year. More information regarding Dance Dimension will be sent out closer to the performance.

Want to donate to the Dance Department?

We are always accepting items to benefit the classroom environment.

Dance Room Supplies: Hair ties/pony tail holders; tissues; paper towels; bobby pins; safety pins; paper; Lysol spray; Clorox wipes.

If you have any questions or would like to donate an item, please contact Mrs. White or Ms. Jacobusse for information. 

What to wear to Dance Class:

Female Dancers: Female dancers will wear a fitted black top to class (no bra tops, crop tops or baggy tops, opaque black leggings. Dance shoes will be purchased through the dance department or can be purchased individually from a dancewear store.

**All dance students need to purchase the dance department top for the fall performance. This top can be worn in class. All purchases are through My School Bucks starting on August 13th.

Male Dancers: Male dancers will wear all black athletic wear/dance wear to class each day. Dance shoes will be purchased through the dance department or can be purchased individually from a dancewear store.

Pirouette Shoes and Leggings

Dancers will be responsible for purchasing their own black leggings and pirouette shoes. Both black leggings and pirouette shoes are REQUIRED dance class supplies. 

When purchasing leggings, please  be mindful that they are not see through. Below, you will find multiple links to recommended brands. You are not limited to these brands, however, they are all reasonably priced, durable leggings that should last throughout the year. 

Dick's Sporting Goods, Academy, Razzle Dazzle Dancewear, The Dance Boutique, Target, Walmart, and other quality athletic wear stores are also great resources if you would not like to purchase online. 

When purchasing turners, we recommend purchasing the turner that best matches your skin tone.
