Welcome Marek Marlins! I am excited for the 2023-2034 school year and I'm eager to continue to build relationships with all of our students and parents! I am thankful that Alvin ISD has entrusted me with the responsibility of serving this district and the Shadow Creek Ranch community as principal of this wonderful school.

I am entering into my 18th year in Alvin ISD. Over the past 17 years, I have served as a 3rd grade math and science teacher, an elementary school counselor, a junior high school counselor, and an elementary administrator. I have had the unique opportunity of working on several campuses here in the Shadow Creek Ranch neighborhood including Mary Marek Elementary, Glenn York Elementary, Nolan Ryan Junior High, and Dr. Ronald E. McNair Junior High.

My beautiful wife. Lindsay also works in the district as the math instructional coach at McNair Junior High. We have two little boys, Lincoln and Riggs. They are my absolute pride and joy. In our free time we enjoy playing ball, fishing, and spending time with friends and family.
