Dear Ranger Nation,

It is an honor to serve as the principal of Glenn York Elementary School - a vibrant hub of learning, collaboration, and excellence! As an Alvin ISD resident, parent, and educator, I am filled with immense enthusiasm to join a venerable community of students, families, and educators at Glenn York Elementary School. I aim to continue cultivating a campus culture where each student feels valued, supported, and motivated to excel academically, socially, and emotionally. As a mother of three children (ages 10 years old, 7 years old, and 2 years old), I recognize and deeply value the importance of providing a safe, enriching, and rigorous educational environment for each student.

My journey and commitment to public service and public education began as a Teach for America Corps Member and I am a proud alumna of Smith College (Northampton, Massachusetts) and the University of St. Thomas (Houston, Texas). Currently, I am pursuing doctoral studies at Baylor University (Waco, Texas). My educational and professional experiences have affirmed my profound belief in the power of collaboration. I am dedicated to building upon the rich traditions of Glenn York Elementary School and working collaboratively with all members of the campus community to ensure each student reaches their full potential. 

I look forward to partnering with our dedicated staff, parents, and community members to ensure each student receives an excellent education. Together, we will uphold the Glenn York Elementary School tradition of excellence and continue to innovate in ways that prepare our students for success in an ever-evolving world!

Hello York Rangers!

I am extremely honored to be named as Glenn York's Assistant Principal. York has an unbeatable reputation and I am blessed to be able to work with the best students and staff this year! I will be entering my 14th year in education with a majority of my experience in Alvin ISD as well as Dubai, Ethiopia, and the Houston area. I have my undergraduate in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University. My family is my greatest blessing and if I am not at school I am running after my "big three" and their many activities! My biggest goal as an Assistant Principal is to make sure all students are encouraged, feel safe, and try their best at Glenn York Elementary.

I can't wait to meet all of the students and families of York! I am committed to serving the students, staff, and community of this wonderful school, and I look forward to building lasting relationships with each of you!
