In the spring, the Alvin ISD Education Foundation, along with district, business, and community leaders, surprises teachers with Innovative Teaching Grants. Teachers apply without knowing if they’ve been selected until the Winners Wagon arrives, accompanied by band members and mascots. The Foundation raises funds year-round to support teachers in bringing their innovative ideas to life in the classroom.
