What if my child is sick or just not feeling well?

If your student exhibits any of the following symptoms, please keep them home until they are symptom free for 24 hours:

*Fever of 100 or above (Student must be fever free for 24 hours without Tylenol or Ibuprofen before returning to school)
*Vomiting
*Uncontrollable Diarrhea
*Red eye with crusting or purulent discharge
*Live Lice

What if I need you to give my child medication while he/she is at school?

For me to be able to administer a medication at school, I need the following 'Medication Administration Form' filled out. Please also see the 'Medication Rules' for guidelines regarding what I need for different types of medication.

Oh my goodness, my child has lice!

Did you know that only about 1 in 100 children get head lice? Even though the prevalence is pretty low, when that one child is yours, it can send you into a panic. While it can be an inconvenience to have to take the time to treat your lice problem adequately, rest assured that it is not a health hazard. Lice do not carry disease. Below is some district information on how to treat lice. If you ever have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

What immunizations does my child need to attend school?

Students must be fully immunized against certain diseases or present an affidavit from the state which gives the reason for the student not being fully immunized. For more information on immunizations, please click here.
