Academic UIL 2024-2025 in Alvin ISD will offer the following events:
Chess Puzzle Solving (2nd-5th)
Creative Writing (2nd)
English Storytelling (2nd-3rd)
Number Sense (4th-5th)
Oral Reading (4th-5th)
Ready Writing (3rd-5th)
Spanish Storytelling (2nd-3rd)
Duke Robotics is offered in two separate programs, one for Grades K-3 and another for Grades 4-5.
The K-3 Group focuses on basic skills with robotics and coding.
The 4-5 Group is Competitive through VEX Robotics.
Student Council at Duke is open to grades 2-5 for membership.
Students in Grades 4 and 5 may campaign for a leadership role.
