I have been a nurse since 2015. While I have worked in many areas as a nurse, working with kids has been my favorite by far!

I am committed to keeping every student on campus as healthy and safe as possible. I treat each student that comes to see me with respect and show them my undivided attention and care.

Medication Guidelines

Completed medication forms must be on file for EACH medication to be administered by the school nurse.

Prescription medication MUST be in the original container with a prescription label attached. If no prescription label is available, a separate doctor's order will be needed.

Students are not permitted to carry or self-administer their medications at school without proper physician and parental paperwork on file.

All medications (including inhalers and epi-pens) brought to the clinic need to be in their ORIGINAL box with the pharmacy label including the student's name, date of birth, and expiration date.

A physician’s order is required to administer over-the-counter medication/s for more than 10 consecutive days from the date of the original request. Alvin ISD staff will not administer medications that are ordered every morning, once a day or every 8 or 12 hours. These medications should be given at home.

All medications will need to be picked up by the parent/guardian on or before the last day of school.
