Ms. Sistrunk

Hello Jeter family!

This will be my first year as a librarian. I started at Don Jeter during the 2018-2019 school year as an intern, then became a kindergarten teacher. I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's of Science in Teaching and Learning in May 2019 and a Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction for Early Childhood Education in December 2020. I'm currently attending the University of Houston Clear Lake for my librarian certification.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family & friends, traveling, and of course reading! I'm excited for this new role & am looking forward to a great year working with our students and staff. Go Jaguars!
