Keirstan Hairgrove

I am thrilled to serve as Assistant Principal at Nelson Elementary ! It is my honor and privilege to join such a passionate and dedicated team. I am a mom of two doggies, Marley (a 4 year old mini-schnoxie) and Alfie (a 9 month old schnauzer mix). This is my 9th year in education and in Alvin ISD! I began my career teaching at Savannah Lakes Elementary as a 4th grade Math/Science/Social Studies teacher. I piloted a math lab for my campus summer school for 1st grade-5th grade.This sparked my desire to widen my scope of impact. During my last year at SLE, I received my Masters in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University (Axe Em Jacks!!!). Afterwards, I became the Math Instructional Coach for Hood-Case Elementary, and that has been my home for the last three years.
