The Fairview Junior High Symphonic Band, directed by Jeremy Kitchens, has been named a Commended Winner in the 2022 Mark of Excellence/National Wind Band Honors project!
The Mark of Excellence is a national music competition that recognizes musical ensembles for high standards in performance. The Foundation for Music Education sponsors this project and ensembles are judged by nationally acclaimed adjudicators.
The project received 376 entries in all classifications this year, and has received entries from 39 states.
The performance of the Fairview Junior High Symphonic Band represents the very highest level of achievement!
