Alvin ISD, in collaboration with the Alvin branch of the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museums, is pleased to start a new district traveling exhibit, "A View Into History". This exhibit will enable students to view reproductions of rare original manuscripts and writings from the Karpeles manuscript archives. These primary sources, paired with analytical questions, will allow students to observe and analyze parts of history such as letters from astronauts, original patent applications, and the work of famous Americans. The exhibit will begin later this spring and will be at various elementary, junior high and high schools throughout the district.
