Alvin Independent School District is pleased to announce the District has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2021 honor by The Houston Chronicle for the 3rd year in a row. The award is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few. “What an honor to receive this designation for the 3rd year in a row,” said Carol Nelson, Alvin ISD Superintendent. “It is special because the judges are our employees, who indicate they believe the District continues to be a dynamic learning organization committed to excellence for each student and every program.”

Being named a Top Workplace is exciting for the entire Alvin ISD community. Out of all the companies in the Houston area, only 175 made this year’s list.

“I am proud to serve such a dedicated organization that puts students first,” shared Nelson. “I am grateful for our employees and thank them for engaging our students each day and for making Alvin ISD a Top Workplace for 2021.”
