They are one step closer to their dream of playing collegiate sports while they earn a college degree. On November 11, the initial signing date for an NCAA National Letter of Intent, 11 student-athletes in Alvin ISD signed letters of intent to play their sport at colleges and universities across the nation.
Alvin HS, Manvel HS, and Shadow Creek HS held special events to mark the occasion. There were cheers, and even a few tears, as family, friends, teachers, and teammates watched the signing ceremonies.
Congratulations to these college-bound student athletes!
