An Alvin ISD senior football player was named to the Touchdown Club of Houston’s 2021 pre-season team. Justin Medlock from Manvel High School received this top honor at the organization’s banquet on August 11, 2021.
Medlock was one of only 37 total players selected for the team in the entire Greater Houston Area. He is a linebacker who has committed to play at the University of Miami next year.
"It's quite an honor for Justin to be a Touchdown Club preseason selection, especially when you consider that he missed almost the entire 2020 season with an injury. You don't see that very often," shared Manvel High School Head Coach, Kevin Hall.
The pre-season team members are selected based on feedback and nominations from multiple sources, including the Greater Houston Football Coaches Association. These athletes are considered the top high school players in the area, according to the Touchdown Club of Houston.
