The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo School Art Auction took place on Sunday, May 16 at NRG Center and three Alvin ISD student’s artwork auctioned for big money!
Shadow Creek High School senior, Jessica Liu sold her piece titled, “In the Spur of the Moment” for $6,000. Kinsey Creel, Manvel High School senior, sold her piece titled “Another Man’s Treasure” for $28,000. Alisha Tate, senior from Shadow Creek High School, made history by becoming the first ever Reserve Class Champion for 3D work. Her piece, “Bronc” sold for $15,000. The students get a pre-set cap of the earnings with the rest going into the general scholarship fund.
