In a year filled with surprises, Shadow Creek High School football players were thrilled to receive a pleasant one on Monday, August 31.

With the coronavirus putting a halt to large public gatherings, the Sharks’ 2019 state championship-winning team held a drive thru ring ceremony where players were given commemorative title rings.

"It's unbelievable, this is any Texas High School football player’s dream come true, playing in a state championship, winning and collecting that ring," shared Shadow Creek High School Head Coach, Brad Butler. "We are blessed to be here. This past season was truly a dream come true and these kids deserve it.”

The Sharks secured the Class 5A Division 1 State Title when they defeated Denton Ryan 28-22 in December 2019.

The Sharks kick off their 2020 season on Friday, September 25 when they take on fellow State Champions, North Shore Mustangs at North Shore.
