Alvin Independent School District is pleased to announce the District has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2019 honor by The Houston Chronicle. The award is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
“What an honor to receive this designation,” said Carol Nelson, Alvin ISD Superintendent. “It is special because the judges are our employees, who indicate they believe the District continues to be a dynamic learning organization committed to excellence for each student and every program.”
Being named a Top Workplace is exciting for the entire Alvin ISD community. Out of all the companies in the Houston area, only 150made this year’s list and Alvin ISD is number 18 on the list among the large employers. “I am proud to serve such a dedicated organization that puts children first,” shared Nelson. “I am grateful for our employees and thank them for engaging our students each day and for makingAlvin ISD a Top Workplace for 2019.”
