Congratulations to the student athletes who committed to furthering their education while playing a collegiate sport during National Early Signing Day this week!
Iowa Colony High School had its first-ever football signee in Christopher Johnson, who signed to play for Baylor University.
Two Manvel High School football players, Grant Stewart, who signed to play at UT El Paso, and Jackson Hamilton, who will be traveling out of state to play for the University of Maryland.
Shadow Creek will be sending seven of its seniors to play at the next level, six for football and one for basketball. Ashton Jones and Jacorey Watson will be joining ICHS' Johnson at Baylor, and Anthony Williams and Cameron Jamerson will continue being teammates at TCU. Cobey Sellers signed to play with Texas A&M next year, while Kyle Peterson is headed to Washington State. The lone basketball signee, Bryce Jackson, will stay close to home, choosing to sign with the University of Houston.
