Enrolling in the 2025-2026 School Year?

Students must be 5 years old on or before September 1st to be eligible for Kindergarten.

Kindergarten Registration Dates:

  • On campus April 28 - May 2

  • Kindergarten parents can begin the process for enrolling for next year from now through May 2

    1. Fill out the online application through May 1st. (Click here for detailed instructions.)

    2. Call your student's campus for an appointment.

    3. Can't enroll April 28 - May 2nd? Come to our Central Enrollment Center.

  • Central Enrollment Center June 2 - June 12

  • Beginning May 12th, Kindergarten parents can begin the process for enrolling for next year.

    1. Fill out the online application. (Click here for detailed instructions.)

    2. Schedule an appointment for the Central Enrollment Center through the Skyward online application.

Parents or guardians of students new to the district will need the following items to upload to complete the online application:

  • Birth Certificate [Request Documentation Online]

  • Social Security Card (Social Security Number is recommended but not required. A student who does not provide or have a

    social security number will be assigned a state identification number.)

  • Immunization Record

  • Two proofs of residency in the Alvin Independent School District: 

  • A mortgage, lease or property tax statement of the parent/guardian seeking to enroll a child and a copy of a current electric

    bill, water utility or gas bill for the address identified (Cell phone bill not accepted). 

  • Last report card or withdrawal form from previous school district 

  • Parent/Guardian I.D. (driver's license, passport, military I.D.)   

If you do not have the necessary documents required to provide proof of residency, contact Student and Administrative Services at 281-245-2440 prior to finalizing your application.

Records normally required of all students in order to enroll may not be required for students who are unaccompanied, homeless, or in foster care in order to enroll. Click here for more information or contact our District Homeless Liaison or our Foster Care Liaison at 281-245-2440

Pre-Kindergarten registration will also be held June 2 - 12 at the Central Enrollment Center (7380 Lewis Lane, Manvel) by appointment only. If your child is 4 years old on or before September 1, 2025 and has limited English speaking ability, qualifies as economically disadvantaged, has a parent in active military duty, or has been in foster care, your child may be eligible for the Pre-Kindergarten program.
