Heather McNierney

Hello Bearkats!! My name is Heather McNierney, RN and I am proud to be your school nurse!! I graduated from Pearland High School and then went to San Jacinto College where I obtained my Associates in Chemistry.  I then went to the University of Houston where I received my Bachelor's degree in Biology.  I then decided to go back to San Jacinto where I received my Associates Degree in Nursing.  While going through college I was a Pharmacy Technician and then once I graduated I went to work in the ICU.  I loved the challenge of working with critical patients but once I had my first daughter, Zoe, I wanted to work with children.  This is my 17th year as a school nurse.  I opened Savannah Lakes Elementary in 2008 and then opened up Shirley Dill Brothers Elementary in 2017.  

I am married to my husband Mike and have two daughters, Zoe and Emma.  Zoe is 16 years old and in the 11th grade.  Emma is 11 years old and is in the 6th grade.  We have 2 cats named Luna and Duke. We also have a black Lab named Jasmine. I love being a school nurse and helping each student reach their full potential by staying healthy at school.
