Hello-- my name is Constance (Connie) White. I am so excited to be your Assistant Principal at Pomona Elementary. This will be my 18th year in education. I taught elementary for 8 years and I have been in administration for 9 years. My administrator and teaching career has been geared toward the achievement of elementary school children. I have a strong passion to educate young minds and help them grow into well-rounded, responsible, and successful individuals. I have had wonderful opportunities to teach diverse groups of students. My greatest strengths include inspiring and motivating students. I have been married to my wonderful husband Carnell for 16 years. We have four children Carmen, Carnell III, Carson and Carissa. Carson will be in 10th grade at Iowa Colony and Carissa will join me at Pomona in 5th grade. Carson is an athlete who keeps us busy! We also have a vibrant granddaughter Laiyla. In my free time I just love to be around my family hanging out in the garage. I love to cook and entertain guests at the house. I am so excited to be a part of the Pirate family and I look forward to meeting the staff, all of the students and their families!!!! This is going to be a fantastic school year!
