About Us:

To help Alvin ISD's goal of being efficient managers of district resources and prioritize expenditures through careful planning and alignment with identified goals our team inventories non-consumable items purchased with district funds. Our team uses the Follett system to help track investments, maximize resources, and tap into student data. Our goal is to track the district's resources to better help ensure that students and faculty have the materials they need to succeed.

Campus Department Inventory

What is inventoried?

  • Items $100 or more

  • Items that we want to track the longevity

  • Items that can be borrowed from another campus

  • Items that have a high risk of theft

What is Resource Manager used for?

  • Accounting for resources at end-of-year inventory.

  • Checking items out to teachers and/or students

  • Transferring & receiving inventory

  • Help plan for upcoming needs and budget allocations

Disposal Form

  • To dispose of old, unused, or broken assets such as equipment, furniture, and machinery please use the link to fill out the disposal form so we can update your inventory. (*Any technology disposals MUST go through Technology Services.)

Donation Form

  • When items are donated to your program or campus you must fill out a donation form and go through the approval process so we can update your inventory with your donated items.
