Our department provides professional development and support for Dual Language, ESL and Sheltered Instruction teachers.

We provide training that allows staff members to explore and discuss the meaning of culture, to take positive steps to embrace diversity, and promote a culture of inclusion in the classroom and in the workplace.

Our staff supports and collaborates with administrators and teachers to coordinate language services for English Learners in the areas of identification, assessment, placement, giftedness and special education.
