The online application for the April/May Kindergarten Roundup is now closed, but Alvin ISD is excited to announce that Kindergarten registration will continue at the Central Enrollment Center in June. The online application will be available in the Skyward Family Access on May 20th at 8 am. Click here to request an account.

In order to register for Kindergarten for the 2024 - 2025 school year, your child must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024.

Lewis Lane Center – June 3 – June 13

• Registration is a 2-step process and appointments will be available on May 20. Check back here for more details in May.

  • Step 1 – Fill out the online application (Click here to request an account if you do not currently have Skyward Family Access.)

  • Step 2 – Schedule an appointment online beginning May 20th. Check back later for the scheduling link.

  • Step 3 - Bring all documents listed below to your appointment.

Parents or guardians of students new to the district should present the following items for their child at the time of registration:

1. Birth Certificate [Request Documentation Online]

2. Social Security Card(Social Security Number is recommended but not required. A student who does not provide or have a social security number will be assigned a state identification number.)

3. Immunization Record

4. Two proofs of residency in the Alvin Independent School District: 

   • A mortgage, lease or property tax statement of the parent/guardian seeking to enroll a child and a copy of a current electric bill, water utility or gas bill for the address identified (Cell phone bill not accepted). 

5. Last report card or withdrawal form from previous school district 

6. Parent/Guardian I.D. (driver's license, passport, military I.D.)

Pre-Kindergarten registration will also be held June 3 - 13 at the Lewis Lane Center (7400 Lewis Lane, Manvel) by appointment only. If your child is 4 years old on or before September 1, 2024 and has limited English speaking ability, qualifies as economically disadvantaged, has a parent in active military duty, or has been in foster care, your child may be eligible for the Pre-Kindergarten program.
