The CTE Advisory Committee oversees the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of career and technical education programs. It engages with faculty and stakeholders to ensure alignment with local industry needs and identifies areas for program improvement.
Career Extravaganza
Share information about your career/business with students and parents during our annual career exploration fair.
Student Internships / Teacher Externships
Host students at your business or organization for a paid/unpaid opportunity to experience work based learning, giving the student the ability to develop skills in the industry, and/ or offer an opportunity to connect teachers to the workplace by providing industry-focused professional development to enrich student learning.
Guest Speaker / Mentor
Share information about your industry/business, and potential job openings with students. Additionally, you can work with a group or individual student to help prepare them to enter the workforce.
Sponsorship / Donations
Investments are used to enhance student learning and teacher professional development to support student learning as they prepare to enter post-secondary education/workforce with the skills necessary to be successful.
