Homebound & Pregnancy Related Services (PRS)

Homebound Services
Homebound Services are provided to students currently enrolled in Alvin ISD who are deemed medically or psychologically unable to attend school. The student must have a documented medical or psychological condition that prevents him or her from attending school for a minimum of 4 consecutive weeks or 4 cumulative weeks within a school year. Homebound services can only be provided with appropriate documentation from a physician licensed to practice in the United States.
Pregnancy Related Services (PRS)
Alvin ISD offers pregnancy and related services to enable school age parents to achieve academical and social-emotional success through the provision of:
Childcare resources
Health and nutrition resources
School counseling
Compensatory Education Homebound Instruction
Community resources
Job readiness training
